did you hear swiftly running little feet?..movement behind the bushes?...the slithering snake on your path? so small yet so poisonous?...the venomous spider in the branches overhead?...did you find their camp?...the fireplace only lukewarm?...did you hear a girls giggle?..or was it only water dripping?...rarely have they been seen!

mystic rituals, tattoos, piercings, mambas, kurii…the jungles are full of secrets…

anything weak is prey in the jungles…and rainforests never talk…

Taluna tribes move through this vast area from camp to camp, hunting, moving again a few days later…never here, never there, their possessions carried on their bodies, a fireplace and a leaf thatched hut for the night…set up and left behind on the move…a hunting tribe…the vast jungles are their fortress, the daily thunderstorm their ally, the steaming heat their dress, the drifting mists their veil, the murky swamps their path, the ash of a fireplace their makeup…

swiftly running feet in the jungles: when you hear them, its too late! surprise is their second name: SCREAM! when claws and teeth rip your body!!! a panther may leave you, a Taluna will not! and PRAY it is a Taluna and not a Mamba of Gor!

rp items...again!

Currently the production of some of the rp items has been shortened. however bosk stills comes on the market as a result of hunting...so far I observed that the rp items promoted:

1. The formation of very large groups.
Huge and allied outlaw groups milk the market and own these items in abundance. They have an awareness of their function of ‘milking’ however, and ‘prices’ for trades have not gone up too much, as many of the active smaller groups pay their ‘tax’ frequently. KCF invented the auction system, which resulted in friends coming to the auctions and pay all they have to KCF. Larger groups make their rounds on gor in a weekly cycle and get most of the rp items that were produced. The market is therefore partly swiped empty, and the large groups are content if at least one item of whatever kind is paid for a trade.

Economically expressed, the inventories of large outlaw groups are the main ‘sink’ of items, although we have no clear figures.

The intra- and inter- large- group trades may encounter inflation rates as many individuals there hoard thousands of these items in their inventories, while the smaller groups are quite poor. Groups that are raided less by escaping the attention of the very large groups and groups that are non combative are also experiencing some inflation, especially lifestylers that produce rp items.

2.Warfare
Since warring and accepting trades or auctions for captives are the easiest means to accumulate rp server items, warring has become a means to satisfy greed

3. Prolonged captivity time
Making captives as a source of ‘income’ has become more attractive. Since captives are now frequently kept as a means to get server items, the motivation to keep captives despite roleplay becoming stale has been enhanced: They are not kept to roleplay, they are kept for items. Therefore the motivation to release a captive without a trade has been reduced.

4.reduced value of kajirae
Since captives are made and kept in abundance, following the desire to ‘make server items’ the focus on ‘voluntary’ submissives has been reduced.

5.introduction of a black market
Frequently individuals who do not produce rp server items and who are not much in war own rp server items like ‘salt’ in abundance as a consequence of a black market of an exchange of items for linden.

positive effects are the introduction of

1.greed
Greed is depicted in the books and individuals becoming very rich in terms of server items are bringing us nearer to a gor by the books.

2. connection of power and wealth
with the introduction of server items group leaders of large groups are finally rewarded with wealth and can afford to pay their members an income in server items, thus further enhancing the size of the group and the income.

3. connection of trades and greed
trades are not only staged anymore, negotiations are frequently struggles of survival for the milked smaller groups

4. value of female fighters like in Mercenary, Pirate and Outlaw groups
Mixed shooter- and pew pew groups generate the largest income of server items. As in nature, survival of the fittest and the most agressive is promoted. Every bow counts.

However, despite all these fantastic developments, there are still some facets that should be straightened out:
Panther groups that dwell in the northern forests have 'blacksmith units'? I cannot imagine a group of Panthers producing charcoal and a Panther wielding a sledge hammer. Developments like that are clearly not by the books. Groups should only be allowed to produce what they CAN. Ultimately I propose that Panther, Outlaw, Mercenary or Taluna groups by the books sell slaves and should not have any producing unit at all. Production of goods is done in cities, Mercenaries are paid for their armed services and do not knit woolens :o.O: . Many taverns have a brewery unit instead of selling their beverages and maybe their services and PURCHASING ales.

Talunas of the Grail!!!

A dark and merciless jungle demon spreads like a deadly fog, like a disease, through our happy evergreen vales…we will be DOOMED if we don t stop it!

A holy ritual needs to be performed.
The jungle gods demand that only Talunas of the Grail can perform sacred ritual!
YOU are needed for us to overcome that deadly threat!!!!!

I need to ask this sacrifice of you, Sisters! Become a Seeker of the Grail!

Here is what you need to do: You need to make the voyage on foot! and you need to wear a white garment while you travel as it is a holy crusade! Cross the jungles and walk to into the tahari…follow the call of the sacred spirits and walk the rocky hills of the Voltai…down into the plains of Vosk…cross the Vosk…and walk up either on the western banks of the river or walk up into the steep hills of thentis until you reach the northern forests…You will encounter Panthers in these forests…stay with a tribe for a full holy day!…NOT longer! not shorter! From dawn till dusk…then continue your voyage into Thorvaldsland….Cross the Hringar Mountains and enter Viking lands…search for the holy grail…walk around it three times and kiss it…then return to the jungles…you may take the ship on your voyage back…no ship travels all the distance, you will have to leave the ship and find another that brings you back…and will enter seven harbours…use eight different ships…until you are back in the jungles…



rules of the quest:
1. wear something white. It must not be all of your dress, but a significant part of it !

2. In every place you go you need to interact with a leader of that place…and get rp that you told him/her that you are on a voyage of the grail and ask for a blessing of your quest. You need not get a blessing to succeed, but you need to ASK for it before you can travel on

3. Make a diary: What places do you go to? put the crucial part of your rp with the leader in, add a pic if you like. You may or may not go in disguise…whatever you do, it needs to be roleplayed and IC

4. You may encounter perils or even get captured. That is the risk of the voyage.I cannot change that. Sorry.

5. Send a bird home to the jungles with your whereabouts and the page of the diary (notecard) for every leg of your voyage you made. It will be published

6. If possible don t travel alone…take a girl with you or a Sister

7.((you may interrupt your voyage, it needs not be done in one quest, but it must be done in their proper order. If you are unsure of the route, go to the gorean hub and select points where you will go to. If the leader of a place/tribe/city is not present, choose an alternative route or wait))

Every Taluna who succeeded will be awarded the title and tag Taluna of the Grail

Kajirae:
Kajirae CAN participate! Either with their Owners or alone with proper travelling papers. However for Kajirae additional rules apply:

1. you need to wear a white Veil while you travel

2. you are not allowed to hide your status or travel in disguise

3. you need to dance for the Leader of a place where you go in three different sacred places of your voyage ((notecard your dance and the reactions as proof))


Every girl who succeeded will be awarded the title and Tag of Slave of the Veils

All successful participants will form a gorean Elite group. More to come!

Taluna hunting grounds are as large as 10.000 square miles, the tribe is on the hunt and on the move, its like the 'round' a grizzly bear or a polar bear does on earth with a diameter of 100 miles. Amazonas tribes do that up to modern times. In our rp ushindi is just a very small spot where we happen to be, the tribe moves on, we are in one specific jungle not more than once a year. if we are gone and someone sets fire, that is about 0,0000656% of the total area we inhabit. IF the jungle where we live would only be that small as Ushindi, our hiding in the jungles rp would not be realistic.Therfore it would not be realistic either if a fire in this underpopulated area would cause harm.

Talunas of Gor, hunting predators of the jungles, rumours tell they are there, scarcely are they ever seen, their fair bodies moving swiftly through the woods, the tips of their spears, the golden ornaments on their arms glinting, once you ever encounter a Taluna you are doomed!

Disney Gor

What is Disney Gor? the answer to this question needs some explanation. See the answer below.

four different versions of gor exist in sl:

Athenian Gor
Spartacian Gor
Evolutionary Gor
Lifestyle gor

Athenian gor:
Life in Athenian sims shall be strictly by the books. Athenians feel the vocation to teach everyone. Every roleplay is played out after strict rules, variations are not allowed if they can t be similarly quoted. Roleplay is quite self- centred, every roleplayer is definitively the most important person in his/her environment. Behind the athenian veil frequently cruelties are hidden that would not be roleplayed in a sane environment. Generally Athenians have the ‘best intentions’ however miss the fact that there are some hard contradictions in the books to a practical roleplay environment, eg serves more beautiful than in the books are well possible, or that true dominant women exist. However it’s a Gor where kajirae feel well, as can be seen by their numbers.

Spartacian Gor
Life in Spartacian Gor does not really care for the books. Spartacian Goreans say otherwise, but more or less everything is accepted, as spartacian Gor is about battling. Double Black Kill Berserk-Mercs from Hellraiser thunder flash Shadow battles Shadow Blackhand-Dagger of Helldeath MegaDarc Outlaws, women are usually clad in motorbike leathers and spiked boots, Men wear black jeans, black boots and the ultralarge sword and steel reinforced spiked bows on their backs. Kilts and tats are a must- have in spartacian Gor. Outlaws accept female and male fighters, it’s fighting skills and numbers that count. Usually the numbers of kajirae is quite small in these groups as there is not much camp life except capture roleplay or battle preparations.

Evolutionary Gor
The role play model of Evolutionary Gor is based on the theory that after the scrolls of Tarl were written, society evolved. Life in evolutionary Gor is usually less formal and less brutal than Athenian Gor, as some excesses are left out. Evolutionary Gor frequently uses environments that are less described in the books, like the southern jungles of Gor or the northern fringes. In contrast to spartacian Gor there is usually less warfare, in contrast to athenian Gor there is usually less brutality and less self- centeredness. The number of kajirae is medium high as the environment is often less strict and battle occurs frequently.

Lifestyle Gor
Like Athenian gor, lifestyle Gor has the best intentions: Lifestyle Gor intends to be an environment that is very gorean, but strictly consensual. The drawback of Lifestyle gor is its denial of enforced behaviour. Gorean society IS nonconsensual in its layout, as it is enforced by male dominance, cities and castes. Lifestyle Gor tries to overcome this drawback by laying out strict rules. However the vibrating strong imbalance of Gor, strong men, the power of cities and of castes, the helplessness of kajirae is somewhat lost in lifestyle Gor. Male dominance is usually entirely lost.
However lifestyle Gor frequently encompasses many roleplay aspects like collaring or branding.
The number of kajirae is usually very high as no battle occurs and there is a strict set of rules to stick to. Lifestyle Gor is frequently but not always led by FW or kajirae.

none of these groups really exists in its truest form, most groups are more or less this or that.

now we can answer the question: what is Disney Gor?

every group sees all the other groups as Disney. Therefore most goreans are Disney goreans, seen from any others view.

our tribe has grown considerably…we merged and formed a Super- Tribe…our Sisters in tainted rose form Tre Sa Jerag with us…two locations…one tribe..four Ens…a large amount of active sisters…we are ONE tribe, two fireplaces, living in the jungles of gor and in the forests…

laughs! Tarl talked to Panthers of course and met them…but since he is a MALE it is highly probable that he simply spreads that rumor to prevent Free Women of Gor from joining their Free Sisters in the forests and jungles! are you not aware that it is our ENEMY who wrote these scrolls???
what would his interest be in spreading the rumor that they have fun, giggle and laugh, cuddle together in the furs at night to give warmth and sisterlove and shelter to each other?

would it not be quite normal to assume that we all cuddle in one big hut in the night, with all the predators in the jungles?...holding each other tight in fear and loneliness? Cast out from family and friends and threatened with horrible fates should we ever be captured?

would we really ask someone new who could help us survive to kill one of our own or kill her ourselves? Yes it MAY be that a tribe that is in great peril would not accept anyone joining who is not fit for survival…and sending her away after she knows where we hide would be risky…but KILLING each other, while each of us depends on the other, cuddling together and shivering in fear and consoling each others tears for having lost families and our lives…that I would regard as highly irrational…*takes these pages, rips them out and puts them onto her stack: Sagas of male Goreans to prevent women to join the Panthers or Talunas*

Panthers and Talunas were not born in the jungles…but born on Gor…Freewomen they have been or even Kajirae…I have problems believing that I despise what once has been my own role…
