Talunas on the warpath!

drumbeats rolling through the jungles of ’Lovers of Gor’! YESSSSSSSSSssss! It was this time of the year when the mighty Chieftess of Sa-Jerag calls for war! masses of Talunas with their fighting slaves and allied Warriors on War- Tarns arrived on the Island….
Even the jungle itself shivered in fear, seeing the grim faces of the seasoned fighters around the fireplace. And the Chieftess unfolded her parchment of Gor, pointing out the positions of the cities and our attacking warriors. Wartarns were unleashed and hot oil bubbled lethally in giant pots over the fires of the tribe…
And the march to the battlefield began! Due to slight misunderstandings of time zones and locations it was the Chieftess herself in front of her army, consisting of then En of the tribe and a pleasure slave who entered battle in Aria.
While the Chieftess shot arrow after arrow at several bystanding enemies, the slave decided it were time to prepare dinner and left…an unlucky arrow hit the chieftess from behind right into the middle of a certain heartshaped ink she wears, but even downed she hissed and bit and clawed! Her En was distracted and surprised by the speed of the unfolding events but ran bravely to her aid when she stumbled over her bow and bit the dust…
So the Chieftess was bound and leashed and taken away into slavery…how sad…her En had more luck though, a kajira who was collecting mushrooms happened to walk by and kicked her ribs, telling her to 'get out of the way and sleep elsewhere on the battlefield' (how unkind!) and the En could crawl away…however on crawling away she even dared to spread her fingers to a Victory- sign!!! YAY! the mushroom that she fell down on was crushed though...pouts...
((here is a pic of the lovely En of Sa Jerag. Only daily sunbathing on the beach and frequent application of fragrant oils will give you this incomparably beautiful even suntan. The sweet ear- pendants are SELFMADE btw!!!!!*smiles proudly*))

While the En laid down in her hut to let her bruised rib being tended for by a kajira and prepared to make a plan to help the Chieftess, the Chieftess herself could sneak out of her captivity due to a chain of lucky circumstances.
She s already making revolutionary new plans for war and we re all looking forward to unimaginably rich loot and fame!

News from far out in the Thassa

The tribes kajirae are quite frequently found in the furs, but whenever they are needed to serve or fetch water they can t be found! After an intensive search the riddle was solved. The pic on the right shows a typical kajira when called to her chores ((note how the girls brown skin and slender arms and legs are a perfect camouflage in the branches of the jungle- tree))

our Physician was promoted and now is an officer in the green caste! Congratulations, Tikvah! The tribe has a new Huntress, she is well acquainted with the bow and I hope she will find a way to be an active tribe member now that she is a Free. Welcome Tina! Our advanced bowfight training was a big success and despite my doubts I learnt quite some new things, like visualizing rendering costs. However we all need to spar frequently and the tribe needs to become a crowd of well fighting individuals that work together as a team in times of raids. There is some training to be done on that, and our location so far out in the Thassa made us lucky enough that the stronghold was not yet put to a test...that may change, Sisters!...smiles evilly!...We are happy for the proud Freewomen of Gor who made Friends with the tribe: You are always welcome, Ladies. The tribe is a retreat from the ever present male dominated world of Gor, but also always in need of defenses. You too will be asked to join in with spars as that is allowed in Cities like Turia and needed when defending the island: I count on you, Ladies!

((On the right you see our Chieftess hunting in the jungles. Note how swiftly she moves through the evergreen forest...
It is an unofficial snapshot: On representing the tribe and in her full queenly regalia she is dressed quite differently of course!))

We will have Kajuralia the next weekend, I am already excited to learn what the kajirae will come up with!

Now and then Talunas of Lovers board the ship and venture into Gor, so far we cannot really say that the warpath has been successful in terms of loot. But helping out our Allies from the Tre'sha-Ni has been lots of fun as well!

The boys and girls perform beautifully in their training and are a constant source of pride and joy for the Free.

Our Sister C. boarded a ship with some bamboo- furniture to sell on the mainland and we hope she ll soon be back after a successful trip. Her friend E. ran out of birds to send from afar, we hope she could trap a new dove so we get news from her.

So far, the fireplace and the cave are the most used places on the island, #3 are the wonderful waterfall and the trading post. But even more essential is our homestone: The mountain, looming high over us as a declaration of Sisterhood forever: Sa- Jerag!
