Silence

I can, I can be silent...silence of the night, the large massive gate swinging shut and it locks with a metallic snap, time for Tears…
I am running, running fast, running with my body, heart and soul, I am running, my little feet hit the path, tap tap tap…
Appointments in Concrete, Crashing new buildings, earthquake in Japan, dental fracture dropping from overhead, the Crane, do the Crane for me, do it now, low, lift your hands, lift your hands higher, THAT is your compensation, elegant, push your foot forwards, backwards, lower, no on tiptoes, lower look at the crane, BE the crane, a cup of rice, always hungry, every day, every minute, hungry, woah I am hungry...tap tap tap....
tap tap tap in the jungles, a film of water, of sweat on my skin, I am running…
tap tap tap, I lie on my bed and sweat...
tap tap tap, the wings of the chopper…
tap tap tap, I watch the snail crawl along the edge of a razor. That's my dream, that’s my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a razor... and surviving…voices…like the whisper of the wind in the dry grass, like the feet of a rat on broken glass in the cellar, shadow without colour the rainbow vanishing in the dark clouds of night, NOOOOOOOOW! FLY! CRANE!
tap tap tap I am running, that is how the world ends, not with a bang, with a whimper…
tap tap tap
